Among the major activities of Shree Agarwal Navyuvak Sangh (SANS) are -

The year started with a bang with our members beating the sweltering heating by having a dip at the swimming pool. This year's swimming program was conducted at the 'League's Club' with loads of fun, prizes and games. Hot and crisp breakfast brought back smiles on all our members faces. More than 150 members - with their children - enjoyed this program.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

A feather in the cap of SANS, we at SANS took up the opportunity to help budding and bright students with a scholarship program to encourage them and propel them to higher goals. This year - about 500 application forms were issued to various schools and school children. We received overwhelming response from students. An interview session was held at Shree Agarwal Vidyalaya. After a careful scrutiny of mark sheets, their parental income, ration card and other relevant details - about 125 students were given scholarship - ranging from Rs.500/- to Rs.1000/-. About One lakh rupees was given as scholarship.

INTER-SCHOOL COMPETITION

There is no secret to success. Only pure hard work, dedication and motivation make a program click. Our inter-school debate competition was a roaring success. Hats off to our organisers. More than 25 schools participated in each of the various events organised by SANS which included English speech, Hindi speech and Talent show. This year, multinational companies including Nestle, Cadburys and soft drink companies came forward to sponsor prizes for the participating students.

QUIZ AND SANS BAL KAVI SAMMELAN

This year, on 2nd of October, we conducted a 'Wah!Wah! Bal Kavi Sammelan'. It was wonderful to see the immense talent of our children and the first show of Bal Kavi Sammelan deserved nothing but kudos and cheers. A welcome feature of this year's quiz program was the pure professionalism of our members. Computer-generated questions on the screens added charm to the program. About 200-250 members of Navyuvak Sangh and Shree Agarwal Samaj participated in the program.

ENTERTAINMENT

We kept our members entertainment need in mind and organised the screenings of 'Bunty aur Bubli' and 'Mangal Pandey' to everyone's delight.

Our Cricket team is going great guns and is quickly climbing the ladders of success.

DIWALI MILAN AND LAUNCH OF SANS WEBSITE

This year - on the 13th of November (2005) - we are launching our SANS Website - www.sans.org.in. It is another milestone for our organisation.

Our Diwali program is studded with American Auction progarm. It is to be held at Hotel Beverly from 6:00 pm onwards. Great fun. Great entertainment. Come in large numbers. Become a member of SANS and enjoy Diwali Dhamaka. There's lots more - only at SANS!
